2024 SeaWorld Fun Card Pass Guide: All You Need to Know
Fun Card Passes are some of the most underrated passes at the SeaWorld parks.
In this guide, we will explain what a SeaWorld Fun Card pass is, what benefits it offers, how it's different from an Annual Pass, and when you should consider purchasing it.
What is a SeaWorld Fun Card Pass?
A SeaWorld Fun Card Pass allows Pass Holders to visit either SeaWorld or both SeaWorld and Aquatica an unlimited amount of times through the last day of 2024 depending on which type of Fun Card Pass they purchase.
It's important to know that although Fun Card Passes work similarly to Annual Passes (in the sense of allowing pass holders unlimited admission), they don't include the additional perks that Annual Passes provide.
Fun Card Pass Holders won't receive additional perks such as free parking, guest tickets, and discounts.
Fun Card Passes also have blockout dates, which means that there are certain days throughout the year that your pass will not work.
Certain dates of the year (typically holidays or days that will be extremely busy) will be blocked out, and you will not be able to use your pass to get in on that day.
Types of Fun Card Passes Available at SeaWorld
There are two types of SeaWorld Fun Card passes including:
- SeaWorld Only Fun Card
- SeaWorld + Aquatica Fun Card
The SeaWorld Only Fun Card option allows unlimited visits to only the SeaWorld park at one price while the SeaWorld + Aquatica option allows unlimited visits to both SeaWorld and Aquatica.
Fun Card Passes typically cost around $30 more than a normal 1-day SeaWorld (only) ticket.
After purchasing your Fun Card Pass you'll immediately have access to the park(s) all year except for dates that your pass is blocked out.

FUN CARD PASS VS ANNUAL PASS DIFFERENCES
An Annual pass is a little different than a Fun Card pass, as it will last you exactly 12 months from the day you purchased it, regardless of the season.
This means if you purchased an annual pass on July 7th, it will last you through July 7th of the next year, not just until the end of the current year.
Additionally, Annual Passes have dozens of benefits (depending on the type of pass) including free parking, free guest tickets, and discounted Howl-O-Scream tickets.
Fun Card passes, on the other hand, have no other benefit besides being able to have unlimited visits to the parks for the year.
WHEN SHOULD I PURCHASE A FUN CARD PASS?
If you're planning on visiting the SeaWorld park at least twice in the same year, a Fun Card Pass will pay for itself in under 2 visits.
If you're not interested in additional perks and just want to ensure that you can visit the parks multiple times throughout the year, a Fun Card Pass may make more sense for you than an Annual Pass.
Where to Purchase a SeaWorld Fun Card Pass
You can purchase a Fun Card Pass directly from the SeaWorld site.
However, to be eligible to purchase a Fun Card Pass, you must be a resident in one of the following locations:
- United States
- Canada
- Puerto Rico
Do All SeaWorld Parks Offer a Fun Card Pass?
At the time of this writing, not all SeaWorld locations offer Fun Card Passes, as SeaWorld Orlando and SeaWorld San Diego do, while SeaWorld San Antonio does not.
