Best Time to Visit
The week after Labor Day through the week before Veteran's day, that is in the middle of September through the beginning of November. In 2021, that is 09/13-11/04.
Theme parks are traditionally at their busiest near holiday weekends. By going in between these two national holidays, you can avoid the busiest crowds.
This is also around the time that kids will all be going back to school.
On top of that, September is also when the Florida weather begins to cool off.
This will give visitors fantastic weather and less crowds. The best of both worlds.
Temperature in September
The daily maximum temperature for September over the last few years is in the 88-91 degrees Fahrenheit range.
The daily minimum temperature for September over the last few years is in the 72-74 degrees Fahrenheit range.
Temperature in October
83-86 degrees Fahrenheit.
64-69 degrees Fahrenheit.
Temperature in November
76-81 degrees Fahrenheit.
55-62 degrees Fahrenheit.
Second Best Time to Visit
January and February.
The temperature average around this time is a high of 72 and a low of 51.
This also happens to be when there is the least amount of crowds in general. In fact through the months of January - April, there are the smallest crowds of the year.
The one thing to note is that it does get a little chilly around this time, so if you're planning on getting wet on water rides or may even shows, it is a good idea to bring an extra pair of clothes, or a poncho. See our SeaWorld Orlando tips page for more tips.
Worst Time to Visit
Spring break. In 2022, that is March 14-18th.
There are absolutely better times to visit the park other than Spring Break. Not only are lines insane (prepare for a 2 hour wait at popular rides), it's extremely crowded as well.
Whether it is college spring breakers roaming the park in groups, or all of the public school crowds, the one thing that you can be sure of is that you'll be waiting in lines at some point.
Near the Park Crowds
However, it's not just at the park that you'll have your work cut out for you. Spring break lasts an entire week, which means the surrounding areas will experience crowds too.
Most notably, the famous International drive is only a 7 minute drive away from SeaWorld Orlando.
International drive has dozens of dining options, hotels, an electric nightlife and even attractions such Top Golf and WonderWorks.
It's safe to say that most guests will be staying in the area, and at the very least they'll be out and about on I-Drive after experiencing the theme park.
If there's anything in this article that you should remember it's this.
SeaWorld Orlando has a crowd calendar that uses historical data to predict when the park will be busy (or not) for the entire year.
Florida Weather Tip Regardless of Season
It's important to know that in Orlando, it is famously known for being extremely hot with the sun blazing at one moment, and then suddenly it's raining the next.
Florida is known for its afternoon showers, which happens pretty much every day.
Best Day to Visit
The weekdays are usually a safe bet on lesser crowds regardless of which season it is.
Monday through Wednesdays in particular are the best, as most vacationers from out of town arrive on Thursdays and leave on Mondays.
Love Bug Season
Another important Florida tip to know.
If you've never seen a Love bug before, don't worry they're completely harmless. However, they can be an inconvenience very quickly as they get on everything.
If you're driving a car be prepared for them to run right into your windshield, with an army.
Anyways, love bug season lasts for a month and they come out once in the spring and once in the late summer.
