What is a Cedar Point Season Pass?
A Cedar Point Season Pass allows a pass holder unlimited visits to the park (and/or other parks depending on which option you choose) for all of 2024 along with other benefits such as free parking and discounts on food and beverages.
Perks can vary depending on which type of Season Pass you purchase, however, Season Passes can include benefits such as:

Types of Cedar Point Season Passes Available
There are three types of Season Passes at Cedar Point:

Summer Season Pass - Admission to Cedar Point Until Labor Day (05/04/24)

Gold Season Pass - Unlimited Visits to Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores for all of 2024
- Prestige Season Pass - Ultimate Perks Such as Access to the Preferred Entrance & VIP Area, Preferred Parking, and Free Bring-a-Friend Tickets during 2024
All three passes provide visitors with free general parking for the season.
1. Summer Pass at Cedar Point
The Summer Pass allows unlimited visits to Cedar Point on regular days from when the park opens (May 4, 2024) until Labor Day (September 2nd, 2024).
If not having the additional perks such as early access, access to the water park, and Bring-a-Friend discounts aren't a deal breaker, this Season Pass is for you.

2. Gold Pass at Cedar Point
The Gold Pass provides unlimited visits to both Cedar Point and its water park, Cedar Point Shores throughout the season, including limited-time events such as HalloWeekends.

- Free Parking at Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores

3. Prestige Pass at Cedar Point
The Prestige Pass is the most luxurious pass including everything the Gold Pass and Summer Pass offer along with access to VIP areas, early entry to the parks, 1 Fast Lane Pass per visit, Preferred Parking, and Bring-A-Friend tickets.

- Access to Cedar Point's VIP Area
- Access to Cedar Point Shores VIP Area
- Access to the Preferred Entrance (2 hours daily)
- Early Entry to Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores
- Preferred Parking (closer to the entrance)
- 1 Single Use Fast Lane Pass Every Visit
- 2 Free Bring a Friend Tickets Every Year
- Unlimited Visits to Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores
- 15% Discounts on Food and Merchandise
- Unlimited HalloWeekends visits
- Eligible for 2 Pre-K Passes

During checkout, visitors will be given the option to upgrade their Season Pass with a variety of options (that will also last for the entire season) including:

When purchased, Season Pass holders will be able to use these upgrades on every visit during the season.
Payment Options For a Cedar Point Season Pass
There are two ways to purchase a Season Pass including:
- Paying in Full
- Paying Over Several Months By Using Easy Pay
Cedar Point's Easy Pay Plan
The Easy Pay Plan is a monthly payment plan that spreads the Cedar Point Season Pass payments over 5 months after a one-time fee.
The Easy Pay Plan works by charging an initial one-time fee on the day of purchase, and from that point on there's a fixed monthly cost every month, for the next 5 months.
Before purchasing your Season Pass, you'll be given a full payment breakdown including the expected payment amount on which date, and for how many months it will last.

- Select the Cedar Point Season Pass You'd Like to Purchase
- Input Your Billing Information
- Upload a Picture of Yourself (Or You Can Choose to Take it at the Park)
- Choose Whether or Not You'd Like to Purchase Add-On's
- Review the Payment Schedule and Total Costs
- Sign Off On the Season Pass Agreement Terms

How to Purchase a Cedar Point Season Pass
You can purchase your Season Pass directly from the Cedar Point site, the Cedar Point app, or in person at the ticket booth of the park.
Renewing Cedar Point Season Pass Holders will receive a slight discount, on average ranging from $5-$25 off from the regular pass price.
When Should I Get a Season Pass?
If you're planning on visiting Cedar Point or Cedar Point Shores at least 2 times in a season, a Gold Pass is worth considering, as it quickly pays for itself in only 2 visits.
When Should I Not Get a Season Pass?
If you're only planning on visiting the park once for the entire season, it most likely will not be worth the investment, as Season Passes make more sense for guests who will visit the park several times in a season.
