Does Cedar Point Close When it Rains? | Easily Explained
When you're visiting a theme park, rain is one of the few things that you can't control, that can still impact your experience.
On this page, we will explain whether Cedar Point closes when it rains, if refunds are available due to inclement weather, and easy ways to prepare for the rain before your visit.
Does Cedar Point Close When It Rains?
Cedar Point will remain open in the event of rain. During light rain showers, outdoor rides will remain open, but if the rain begins to pick up and/or thunderstorms are on the horizon, outdoor rides will temporarily close.
The Cedar Point rides will resume operations when the weather is deemed suitable to continue.
When it rains, the park will monitor the weather and re-open rides accordingly as the weather improves.
