Can You Leave Cedar Point and Come Back?
If you need to leave the park for any reason, you'll be pleased to know that you're able to come back inside of Cedar Point when you return. You'll simply need to ask for a re-entry ticket on the way out of the park from the exit associate.
However, you must return on the same day.
If you are a Season Pass holder, you won't need to do this, as you'll simply use your season pass to leave and enter as you please.
Why Do Visitors Ever Leave the Park?
There are many reasons why visitors need to leave the park, some planned and some unplanned.
Some visitors would like to grab a bite to eat outside of the park, before coming back.
Other visitors have simply forgotten their hats, spare clothes or bags in their car.
Regardless of the reason, it's great to have the ability to seamlessly rejoin your group inside of the park.

Can I Get My Hand Stamped?
In earlier years, hand stamps would be used for re-entry, but this is no longer used today.
The way it used to work is:
- Before leaving the park, you'd simply let the park attendant near the exit know that you were planning to return.
- The park attendant would stamp your hand which would signify that you have purchased a prior ticket, have left the park, and were simply returning to the park.
