Can You Smoke at Cedar Point?
As of 2020, visitors are no longer allowed to smoke inside of the Cedar Point theme park. However, guests will be able to smoke outside of the main gate, in a designated smoking area.
In previous years, Cedar Point had several smoking areas inside of the park.
However, in 2020, Cedar Point banned smoking inside of the park altogether.
What is Included in the Ban?
Leaving the Park to Smoke and Then Coming Back
You are able to leave the Cedar Point park and come back in when you are done smoking.
You'll simply need to ask for a re-entry ticket on the way out of the park from the exit associate.
Many visitors will head to the designated smoke area outside of the main gate, or to the parking lot by their cars.

What Happens if I Smoke in the Park?
If you are caught smoking inside of the park, you may be removed from the park completely, and receive no refund for your admission ticket.
You'll want to be familiar with Cedar Point's code of conduct policy.
Some of the notable behaviors not permitted in the park from that policy include:
- Intoxication or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
- Smoking/Vaping is not permitted inside the park
