Types of Season Passes Offered at Kings Island
There are two types of Season Passes at Kings Island including:
- Gold Pass
- Prestige Pass
The Gold Pass grants you access to Kings Island for the entire season including limited-time events, with complimentary parking and early entry to both parks.
The Prestige Pass is perfect for visitors looking to maximize every perk offered as it offers everything the Gold Pass does but also includes access to VIP areas, Preferred Parking, and a single-use Fast Lane Pass during every visit to name a few.
1. Kings Island's Gold Pass
The Gold Pass is perfect for visitors who are mainly interested in having unlimited access to both parks while enjoying a few useful perks (such as free parking & early entry) along the way.

Where to Purchase a Kings Island Season Pass
You can purchase a Season Pass directly from the Kings Island site, the Kings Island app, or in person at the park.
Kings Island allows Pass holders to pay for their Season Pass over 12 consecutive months.
You'll need to make an initial payment, and for the next 11 consecutive months, you'll pay a fixed amount every month.

When Should I Get a Season Pass?
If you're planning on visiting the park at least 2 times in a season, a Kings Island Season Pass may be a good option for you, as a Gold Pass pays for itself in only 2 visits.
Know There Are Upgrades Available With Your Season Pass
During checkout, you will be given the option to upgrade your Season Pass from several options including:
