Carowinds Fast Lane: Everything You Need to Know
In this guide we'll go over what a Fast Lane is, what it allows you to do, what rides it includes, and where to buy them.
What is a Fast Lane Pass?
A Carowinds Fast Lane Pass allows you to skip the regular line, and access a faster line to quickly ride your favorite rides rather than waiting in a long line.
How to Skip the Line
After purchasing your pass, you will receive a wristband which will give you access to the 'fast lane lines'.
All that you have to do is show your wristband to the ride operator in the entrance of the ride.
Included Rides
A cool feature with the Carowinds fast lane pass (compared to other parks) is that all of the most popular rides are included.
In this park there is only a fast lane pass, which is great news for visitors.
In other parks, they've created a 'fast lane plus' option as well, which means the normal fast lane pass doesn't include all of your favorite rides at those parks.
However, this isn't the case at Carowinds. Below we've listed the 22 rides included with the Fast Lane pass.

When Should I Get a Fast Lane Pass?
If you're only visiting the park for one day, and the only time that you can go is on the weekend (when the park is most busy), so you'd like to maximize your time.
If you just hate waiting in lines in general.
If you fall into either of the above categories, a Fast Lane pass will be beneficial for you.
You will have minimal waiting, and more fun. You will be able to do many more experiences at the park in much less time.
A situation that you don't want to find yourself in is having waited in line all day and barely experiencing any rides.
Or worse yet, you looked at the line wait times and decided that you just don't have the time to wait for that and can't ride it at all.
When Should I Not Get a Fast Lane Pass?
If you don't mind waiting in lines, or if you're able to visit the park during the week (when it's least busy).
If you're able to visit the park during the week, chances are that the lines and wait times wont be anywhere near what they are on the weekends.
Which means that you'll be able to wait in the regular lines for a reasonable amount of time, without having to wait hours on end.
Carowinds Season Pass Fast Lane
If you're a season pass holder, there's great news for you.
You can also buy a season long fast lane pass.
This means minimal waiting for the entire season.
It works exactly the same as the normal fast lane passes, however they can only use it for the day, where as you will be able to use it for the entire season.
