Can You Make Reservations at T-Rex Cafe?
Yes, all visitors are able to make reservations at T-Rex Cafe via booking online or through the My Disney Experience app for parties of 8 people or less.
If your party is more than 8 people, you'll have to call the restaurant directly to make a reservation.
Although T-Rex Cafe also takes walk-ins, reservations are best way to ensure that there's a table available for you, as it's one of the most popular restaurants in the area.
How to Make a Reservation Online
Reservations for T-Rex Cafe can be made up to 60 days in advance.
Head to the T-Rex at Disney Springs site, select the date that you plan on visiting the restaurant.
You'll immediately notice that some dates are already greyed out, which means you aren't able to make a reservation on these dates.
These greyed out dates are typically around the holidays.
Once you've found a date that isn't greyed out, select the 'Check Availability' button.
You'll then be prompted to sign into your Disney account (if you don't have one, you can make one in only a few minutes, free of charge).
After you've signed in, a pop up will allow you to input more details of your visit including:
- Expected time of your visit
- The size of your party
Rather than putting in an exact time, you'll want to select either 'Lunch' or 'Dinner'.
The reason why is when you select an exact time, that doesn't mean that a reservation is available, and it'll be much tougher going through each individual time to find an available reservation time.
However, when you select the 'Lunch or 'Dinner' options, the system will provide you with available times based on those options.
The Lunch option is within this time range: 11:00 AM to 3:55 PM.
The Dinner option is within this time range: 4:00 PM to 10:05 PM.
You'll then select the time, and after you've done this it'll ask you to confirm you and your party's details, confirm your payment information, and then your reservation will be completed.
How to Make a Reservation Through the App
Open the My Disney Experience app, and select the search sign located in the bottom center of the screen.
This will take you to a search navigation screen, where you'll input 'T Rex Cafe', and select the first option (the restaurant).
Select the Reserve Dining option.
You'll then input your expected party size for your visit, and select the date that you want to visit.

What is the Reservation Cancellation Policy?
Reservations require a credit card to secure your reservation.
If you decide to cancel your reservation it must be done at least 1 full day in advance.
In the event that you do not show up for your reservation, or don't cancel in time, your credit card will be charged $10.
The person who made the reservation is typically the one that must cancel the reservation.
