Can I Upgrade My Six Flags Ticket to an Annual Pass?
Yes, you can upgrade your Six Flags daily admission ticket to an Annual Pass. You'll simply need to bring your current ticket and identification to Guest Relations.
They will credit the cost of your current ticket towards the Annual Pass, and you'll simply pay the difference.
It's important to note that this must be done at the park, on the same day of your visit.
If you visited the park and used your admission ticket today and then decided to leave the park, and tried to upgrade tomorrow, it won't be valid.
Necessary Documents at Guest Relations
- Identification such as a Driver's License
- Proof of Purchase of ticket - Email or Printed copy of ticket
- Payment method - Credit/Debit Card (Six Flags is a cashless park)
What is an Annual Pass at Six Flags?
A Six Flags Annual pass allows a pass holder to visit the park an unlimited number of times throughout the year, on all days that are open to the public.
These passes offer benefits including complimentary parking, access to the water parks such as Hurricane Harbor, access to special events, and discounts, which we will all cover later.
Your pass is valid for the next 12 months after date of purchase.
This means that if you purchased your pass on July 1st in 2023, it would be valid until July 1st in 2024.
Know the Differences of Annual Pass vs Season Pass
It's important to know that an Annual Pass is different than a Season Pass.
A Season Pass typically gives you access for that entire 'Season' for the year, while an Annual Pass will be valid for an entire year.
For example, if you purchase a Season Pass in July, it will be valid until the end of that 'Season' which is typically until December 31st of that year.
You'll want to double check the terms of service for the Six Flags park that you're planning on visiting.
How to Upgrade to an Annual Pass
Visitors will have to upgrade their normal park ticket to an Annual pass in person at Guest Relations.
The best part about upgrading a ticket is that the full cost of your ticket will count towards the annual pass.
However, you'll want to make sure that you're doing this the day of your visit, or you'll have to pay for both items separately (daily admission ticket + annual pass).
Visitors will simply pay the difference in cost from the annual pass subtracted from their park ticket they purchased.
