Can I Change the Name on a Six Flags Ticket? | Easily Explained
Have you ever put the wrong name on a ticket and/or misspelled a name?
Don't worry, it's more common than you think.
In this page, we will cover the easiest way to get that fixed.
CAN I CHANGE THE NAME ON A Six Flags TICKET?
Yes you can, and there are two ways to do it. You can simply head to guest services and they will be able to change the name on the ticket.
For most Six Flags locations, Guest Relations is located right after the entrance turnstiles.
In our experience, they've been extremely helpful in finding quick and efficient solutions.
Another way to change the name of your tickets is by using the Six Flags app.
You'll then select the Purchase history option, and click on your tickets.
You can then select the ticket that you'd like to change the name of, and select the pencil icon to edit the name.
Why Change the Pass Name If Your Name is Wrong
During your first visit, you will scan your pass in at the gates.
If you decide to leave the park, or come back the next day and your fingerprint (for some reason) doesn't work..
If your name is wrong, it will be a long process getting everything sorted out, and eventually re-entering the park.
Typically for General Admission passes, your name isn't checked when your pass is scanned, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Can I Change the Name on a Season or Annual Pass?
However, you won't be able to change your name to someone else's name as these passes are non transferable.
In fact, Six Flags states:
Six Flags Pass IDs are nontransferable and may only be used by the specific individual the ID was assigned to. Any attempt to gain admission to the Park using a Six Flags Pass ID by a guest to whom the Pass was not originally issued will result in immediate confiscation of the pass without refund.
Additionally these types of passes normally use biometrics (scan your finger), and/or the traditional photo ID for the park staff to match the name and picture with the pass.
