Are Busch Garden Parks Cashless? | Know Before You Go
In recent years, many businesses have changed the way they operate to minimize contact.
In this guide, we will explain the different types of payment options that Busch Gardens offers, and whether or not Busch Gardens takes cash.
Does Busch Gardens Take Cash?
The Busch Gardens Tampa location still accepts cash, however, the Busch Gardens Williamsburg location no longer accepts cash.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg has made a transition for guests to use cashless payment options.
Guests will be able to use a Cash-to-Card Kiosk in the park to load their cash into a pre-paid VISA card (at no cost), which they then will be able to use at the park.
It's important to know that these cards are not reloadable, however, if you'd like to load more cash into a card, you can do so into a new card.
HOW DOES A CASH-TO-CARD KIOSK WORK?
The Cash to Card Kiosk allows guests to transfer the cash that they have in hand, to a prepaid card.
The prepaid card will allow them to use their money everywhere in the park.
Unlike an ATM, where customers have to pay a fee to use it, there are no fees to convert your money to a prepaid card.
Where Are the Cash-to-Card Kiosks Located?
There are six Cash to Card Kiosk locations at different areas of Busch Gardens Williamsburg including:
- Welcome Center (in England)
- Guest Services (by the Park entrance)
- Acadia Traders (in France)
- Bella Casa Gifts (in Italy)
- Das Festhaus (in Germany)
- Tempesto Gifts
Typically Cash to Card machines are located indoors.

Minimum: None
Maximum: $500
How to Check the Balance of My Card
- At the kiosk
- Online at RCbalance.com
- Calling the phone number that's on the back of the card
Other than the prepaid cards, Busch Gardens also accepts the following as payment at the park:

- Google Pay
