Busch Gardens Locker Guide: Everything You Need to Know

Just like every major theme park, Busch Gardens has lockers available for rent.

In this guide, we'll explain the types of lockers available, where the lockers are located, how much they cost, how to use them, and if they're worth it.

Types of Busch Gardens Lockers Available

There are two types of lockers available at Busch Gardens including All Day lockers and Ride lockers.

All Day lockers come in different (larger) sizes and are more expensive, but they allow visitors to keep their items in the lockers for the entire day the park is open, and the flexibility to use them as many times as they want.

Ride lockers come in one smaller size, but can be found at almost a dozen locations around the major rides.

HOW TO USE A LOCKER

How to Rent a Locker

Visitors can walk right up to the touch screen machine in the locker area and choose the rent-a-locker option.

The machine will then prompt visitors to select which type of locker they would like to rent.

After this, visitors will need to pay using a cashless option, as your card will be charged upfront to give you access to the locker and not at the end of the day after you finish using the locker.

Visitors will then will be able to create their secure 4-digit PIN for their locker, hit the enter button, and receive a receipt of their rental.

How to End a Locker Rental

Visitors can simply keep the locker door open and hit the red End Rental button.

SHOULD YOU RENT A LOCKER?

If there are personal items that you need to bring with you to the park and don't want to carry them all day, then getting a locker is the easiest solution.

When we rent lockers, we prefer using Ride lockers as they're more conveniently placed around the park (rather than needing to walk back near the entrance), and we typically pack lightly to Busch Gardens.

Busch Gardens is a large theme park (335 acres), so keep in mind that you might find yourself walking quite a distance to grab items in your locker.
