What Time Does The Main Parking Structure Open (Mickey & Friends + Pixar Pals)?
The two main parking areas at Disneyland, known as the Mickey & Friends as well as the Pixar Pal parking structures, typically open one hour before the earliest scheduled park opening time.
This means that if Disneyland opens at 9 AM and California Adventure opens at 8 AM, then you can expect the parking structures to open at 7 AM.
During some of the busier times of the year, such as the Christmas or Thanksgiving holiday season, the parking structures will often open a bit earlier than usual.
During these times of the year, we've seen the parking structures open as early as 90 minutes before the earliest scheduled park opening time.
While these schedules are typically consistent and a great rule of thumb when planning a trip to Disneyland, the garages ultimately open whenever Disney cast members are ready to be welcoming guests into the garages.
What Time Does The Toy Story Parking Lot Open?
Like the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures, the Toy Story Lot will typically open 60 minutes before the earliest scheduled park opening time.
The Toy Story Lot is still considered an "overflow" parking area and in previous years has not always been used.
However, in recent years we've seen the Toy Story Parking Lot open nearly every single day of the year.
Remember that you'll have to take a shuttle (or a long walk) to Disneyland from the Toy Story lot as it's not directly connected to Downtown Disney or any of the theme parks, unlike the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures.
What Time Does The Simba Parking Lot Open?
The Simba Parking lot will typically open 15 minutes before Downtown Disney is scheduled to open.
Because Downtown Disney opens before Disneyland or California Adventure, you'll be able to access the Simba Parking lot earlier than any of the other parking locations at Disneyland.
Remember, the Simba Parking Lot is reserved for visitors to Downtown Disney.
If you park your car here at the head to Disneyland or California Adventure, you'll end up paying much more for parking than any of the other lots.
We only recommend using the Simba Lot for trips to Downtown Disney!
