Six Flags Magic Mountain Parking: Everything You Need to Know
There are many parking options available at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
In this page, we'll explain all of the available parking options, how much they cost, and whether or not the parking upgrades are worth it.
Types of Parking Options at Six Flags Magic Mountain
There are 4 types of parking options at Six Flags Magic Mountain including:
- Single Day/General Parking ($40)
- Preferred Parking ($45)
- Front Gate Parking ($50)
- Valet Parking ($65)
General Parking will allow you to park in a spot for the day, but the later that you arrive at the park for the day, the further that you will be parked from the entrance.
Preferred Parking is more expensive, but it allows you to park closer to the entrance of the park, regardless of what hour of the day you arrive.
1. GENERAL PARKING
General Parking is going to be your most basic and cheapest option at Magic Mountain.
General Parking Cost
General Parking will be $40 for one car or motorcycle.
Additional charges may apply for larger vehicles (such as RV's).
You're able to pre-pay for parking online directly from the Six Flags site.
2. PREFERRED PARKING
Preferred Parking will provide you access to park closer to the entrance of the park, at a higher cost than general parking.
Preferred Parking is a very popular parking option as it allows visitors to park close to the entrance, and be close to their cars after their visit.
Visitors Can Upgrade to Preferred Parking
If you decide to pre-pay for a Single-Day/General Parking pass, and later on decide that you'd like to go the Preferred parking route, you can do so at any parking toll booth.
Parking attendants are well aware of this and can help you easily upgrade your pass.
3. Front Gate Parking
A Front Gate Parking Pass guarantees you the closest possible (available) spot to the front gate (entrance of the park).
For this reason alone, it's $5 more than Preferred Parking, at $50.
4. VALET PARKING
Valet parking is a bit pricey at $65, but is absolutely worth it if you're looking for the ultimate convenience.
You'll be able to head directly to the Valet Parking area, and the valet will be in charge of parking your car and pulling it back up after you're done visiting the park.
This saves you a ton of walking and more importantly time.
You can purchase this directly from the Six Flags site.
