Disney’s BoardWalk Parking Guide | Tips & Best Spots
Disney’s BoardWalk is a beautiful destination that is often overshadowed by Disney Springs, especially because parking is often difficult to find!
While Disney Springs has multiple dedicated parking garages and a surface lot, Disney’s BoardWalk actually doesn’t have a definitive singular place to park.
WHERE TO PARK AT BOARDWALK + OTHER TIPS:
- Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
- BoardWalk Inn
- Swan & Dolphin Hotels
- Other Parking Options & Tips
Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
The Yacht and Beach Club resorts both have direct access to BoardWalk as well as EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
If you have a dining reservation to any of the restaurants at the Yacht or Beach Club you’ll be able self-park at the resort free of charge.
This means you’ll also have access to enjoy all of the BoardWalk property at no cost outside of the price of your meal.
In the late evenings, you may also be able to park at the Yacht & Beach Club without a dining reservation if you’re hoping to explore BoardWalk.
This is dependent on hotel occupancy and parking availability as hotel guests will be prioritized when it comes to parking. We haven't many issues parking at The BoardWalk in the evenings except on holidays or the busy summer or spring break travel season!
If you have a reservation at one of the BoardWalk restaurants like Flying Fish or Trattoria al Forno then we recommend heading over to BoardWalk Inn rather than Yacht or Beach Club.
BoardWalk Inn
The BoardWalk Inn is another resort with direct access to Disney’s Boardwalk.
If you have a reservation to one of the many restaurants at the BoardWalk then you should have no issues parking at the BoardWalk Inn.
You also will also have free self-parking at the BoardWalk if you have a dining reservation or are just hoping to explore the area.
Valet Parking however is always an additional fee and currently costs $33 per day.
The BoardWalk Inn is going to be the property closest to most of the restaurants and shops at the BoardWalk, making it one of the more popular places to park for BoardWalk access.
As with all hotels on Disney property, registered guests are given priority access so a dining reservation is the only guaranteed way you’ll be able to park at BoardWalk Inn to enjoy the BoardWalk.
During most times of year though you should have minimal issues parking at the BoardWalk Inn.
Holidays and peak travel periods like Spring Break may require you to park elsewhere if you’re hoping to enjoy the BoardWalk.
Swan & Dolphin Hotels
The Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve Hotels all have direct access to Disney's BoardWalk.
However, we don't recommend parking here as free parking is much harder to come by than the other BoardWalk resorts and it's also a slightly longer walk to most of the shops and restaurants.
The Swan & Dolphin hotels have parking that is charged per hour or day of use and you can only get this fee reduced or waived when dining at select restaurants at the Swan & Dolphin.
This validation does not apply to most restaurants at BoardWalk though, so be sure to do your research beforehand on where the Swan & Dolphin are currently offering parking validation.
If you park at the Swan Reserve hotel without validation you could find yourself paying as much as $65 for the day to visit the BoardWalk!
Other Parking Options
There are a few other, less direct ways to park near the BoardWalk which we've outlined below.
Most of these parking locations require longer walks or use of alternative Disney transportation like busses or the skyliner.
EPCOT OR HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Hollywood Studios is within walking distance from BoardWalk and you can also take the FriendShip Boats, Skyliner or busses to BoardWalk.
EPCOT is also connected to the BoardWalk via busses. The Skyliner or FriendShip Boats from EPCOT will also get you to the BoardWalk, but you'll need to go through the park to do so.
FANTASIA MINIATURE GOLF
If you play a round of miniature golf at the Fantasia Golf Course you'll get two free hours of parking at their facility.
Fantasia Golf Course is just across the street from the BoardWalk, so if you finish your round of golf fast enough you could have an hour or more to enjoy BoardWalk.
DISNEY SPRINGS
You can also park at Disney Springs for free and take a bus to any of the hotels at the BoardWalk (Yacht & Beach, BoardWalk Inn, Swan & Dolphin).
The bus ride itself is relatively short, but you may have to wait between 10-20 minutes for a bus to arrive.
