- What Theme Parks Does Costco Sell Tickets To?
- Can You Buy Costco Theme Park Tickets Online?
- Can You Buy Costco Theme Park Tickets In-Store?

What Theme Parks Does Costco Sell Tickets To?
Costco primarily sells theme park tickets to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Disneyland.
As of this writing, Costco typically only sells theme park tickets as part of a package deal, so you're best bet on finding a good deal is to bundle your theme park ticket with a hotel stay.
However, you may find tickets to other popular theme parks like LEGOLAND and Knott's Berry Farm throughout the year in Costco stores. Tickets to these attractions will only be in stock during certain times of the year, unlike the Disney parks which Costco sells year-round.
If you're planning to stay at a hotel on theme park property or in the surrounding area then these ticket package deals are worth considering.
If you're not looking to purchase your tickets as part of a package deal then you might want to look at other Authorized Ticket Sellers like Groupon, GetYourGuide, and even Costco's competitor Sam's Club!
Can You Buy Costco Theme Park Tickets Online?
Yes! Costco theme park ticket packages can be purchased online.
Keep in mind you will need a Costco membership to take advantage of most deals though - if you're in the market for a Costco membership, you can find promotions and special offers on memberships here as they come in.
Their website lists dozens of special deals currently being offered at Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Disneyland.
They also have an easy-to-use search feature that allows you to see what deals are available during your time of stay and for your specific destination.
However, if you're looking for standalone tickets (no hotels included) then you'll have to go into a Costco store to find these. As we mentioned earlier in this guide, Costco doesn't consistently sell tickets in stores and does most of its theme park ticket business online, so you may not always find tickets in stock.
Can You Buy Costco Theme Park Tickets In-Store?
Costco has "Costco Travel" booths and desks at select stores across the country.
At these booths, you're able to purchase your theme park tickets and packages in-store.
You'll have to check with your individual Costco location to see if they have a "Costco Travel" desk as they aren't at every single location.
If there is no Costco Travel section at your store then you won't be able to purchase tickets - customer service or any other store section will not be able to assist with this.
Are Costco Theme Park Tickets Refundable Or Transferable?
Theme park tickets purchased from Costco are rarely refundable. Because Costco is unable to check if a ticket has been used or not, they refrain from providing refunds to prevent fraud.
Costco's theme park tickets typically are transferable though!
After purchasing a ticket you can gift these tickets to any friends or family members. This is especially useful if you're buying tickets on behalf of someone or for a large group before you visit a theme park.
It's important to note that tickets are only transferable if they haven't been used yet! Once a theme park ticket has been used it cannot be transferred to someone else.
You also cannot resale any theme park tickets purchased from Costco.
How Much Money Do You Save With Costco Theme Park Tickets?
Theme park tickets purchased at Costco as part of a vacation package can save you quite a bit of money!
While these offers vary throughout the year, it's common to see promotions that offer 1-2 days free on select ticket purchases (think buy 2 days get 2 days free).
Some deals also include a free Express Pass at Universal, complimentary parking at resort hotels, and free nights.
We've also seen complimentary breakfasts, guaranteed late checkout, free transportation to the theme parks, and even kids eat free at the hotel offers!
Depending on which promotion you take advantage of we estimate you can save anywhere from $20 per person to over $100 per person by purchasing a theme park ticket vacation package with Costco!
Are Costco Theme Park Tickets A Good Deal?
If you're looking to stay at a hotel on Universal, Disney World, or Disneyland property then we find Costco theme park ticket packages to often be a great deal.
The same goes for if you're hoping to stay at a hotel in the surrounding area of these theme parks - Costco often has great deals for hotels just a few miles away from Disney and Universal.
While the savings will vary depending on which package you purchase, you'll likely at least be saving some money vs purchasing your tickets and hotel stays separately.
We always recommend comparing prices before jumping right into one of these package deals though!
We also recommend reading and understanding the terms and conditions of Costco Travel before purchasing as well.
If you don't want to purchase your tickets as part of a combo package then Theme Park Center is an Authorized Seller of theme park tickets with savings of over $10 per person on most theme parks!
