Can I Upgrade Any Disney Ticket to Park Hopper? | Explained
If you've purchased a standard ticket (one park per day), and end up changing your mind and want to upgrade to a Park Hopper ticket, is it possible?
In this page, we will explain if you can upgrade your Disney ticket to Park Hopper, and if so how to do it.
Can I Upgrade My Disney Ticket to Park Hopper?
Yes, you can upgrade your Disney standard ticket (aka one park per day) to a Park Hopper ticket. You'll simply need to bring your current ticket and identification to Guest Services.
They will credit the cost of your current ticket towards the Park Hopper ticket, and you'll simply pay the difference.
For Disneyland, you will have to request this change in person at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth.
Price Difference to Expect
For a 1 day ticket, you can expect to pay around a $40 difference when you upgrade your standard ticket to Park Hopper.
What is a Park Hopper Ticket?
A Park Hopper ticket allows you admission to more than one Disney park for the day.
In Disney World it allows you access to all 4 parks, and in Disneyland it allows you access to both parks.
Visitors have the freedom to go in and out the parks as much as they want, just simply scan your ticket on the way in.
There are 1 day options, and multi-day options.
Limited Availability
To enter a theme park, you will need a park reservation and valid admission for that park, for each day you’d like to visit.
Before purchasing a Park Hopper ticket, you'll want to check the availability of ticket options for the day that you're planning on visiting.
Not all days offer the same options.
Upgrading to an Annual Pass
Visitors can also upgrade their normal park ticket to an Annual pass by visiting Guest Services.
The best part about this is that the full cost of their ticket will count towards the annual pass.
Similarly to the upgrading to a Park Hopper option, visitors will simply pay the difference in cost from the annual pass subtracted from the park ticket they purchased.
