Even the cast members are dressed up, and immediately spring to action in order to transition you into the next portion of the ride. It's a full experience.
You'll initially be taken captive by a First Order Star Destroyer, until a team of Resistance fighters intervene and try to help you escape.
In this journey you'll experience the escape pod, avoiding storm trooper shots, and even see the battle going on outside in space.
It is a trackless dark ride, it uses audio-animatronics, and projection mapping.
Rise of the Resistance is easily one of the most advanced attractions ever made.
2. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
If you've been anywhere near the Sunset Boulevard area of the park, you'll immediately hear the screams coming from the Tower of Terror.
This is one of the classics in the park, a free fall drop ride, that will give you plenty of thrills.
The story behind this ride is that the hotel was struck by lightning in 1939, and those riding the elevator, along with those in a specific area of the hotel vanished.
Guests will be introduced to the famous Twilight Zone.
3 minutes 34 seconds.
Prior to entering the ride, as you begin to enter the vicinity, you'll notice the overgrown gardens, collection of book and antiques.
This ride does a great job of giving guests the feeling that the hotel was truly 'stuck in time'.
3. Toy Story Mania
Imagine playing carnival games in real-time, while spinning on a vehicle, and your scores are tracked the entire time.
That's essentially what the ultra popular Toy Story mania is, and of course it's themed to Toy Story.
Riders will put on their 3D glasses, and play 6 different mini-games throughout the ride, and each mini game will test the skill of the riders.
Whether you're an adult or a kid, it's the most fun as you compete for bragging rights.
Toy Story Mania replaced Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Play It.
4. Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run
The Millennium Falcon ride is one of the most unique rides that you'll ever ride.
This is a ride that you absolutely want to ride with friends/family if you can.
Rather than your traditional ride where you just sit down, and the ride begins.. The ride splits the 6 riders into 3 different roles.
- Front Row - Pilots
- Second Row - Gunners
- Third Row - Engineers
All three rows have to work together throughout the ride which leads to hilarious chaos during the adventure.
This is the most fun ride to ride at the park with a group that you know.
5. Rock 'N' Roller Coaster
This ride begins by launching riders from 0-57 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds.. Yeah, that sets the tone for the rest of the ride.
Riders will experience a serpent roll, a corkscrew, and 3 inversions.
Also, it happens to be a dark ride as well! Riders will travel through 3,000+ ft of high speeds, and sharp turns.
The scariest part of the ride just may be while you're waiting in line, and you're able to watch riders blast into complete darkness.
1 minute 22 seconds.
As part of the pre-show experience, guests are asked to wait outside the doors of Studio C. Different musical instruments can be heard being played in Studio B during a rehearsal. As guests enter Studio C, Aerosmith is working on an instrumental recording of "Walk This Way" with a sound engineer.
6. Slinky Dog Dash
Themed after the beloved Slinky Dog from the Toy Story films, riders will be able to ride this outdoor laid-back roller coaster on Slinky!
This ride is designed to look as if Andy himself built it using everything around his house.
Whether you're young or wise, this ride is a must-do experience at the park. Many visitors actually call this the "Cutest Ride at the park".
Although it's a laid back ride, this ride still reaches speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
