Planet Snoopy is a themed area that is based off of the “Peanuts” comic strip of Charles Schulz. A 14 acre area designed for pure fun, Planet Snoopy contains 20 rides specifically tailored to families and young children. Planning on visiting Planet Snoopy? Or even thinking about going? There are a multitude of Planet Snoopy locations in the United States (& Canada) which can make too much information seem overwhelming, such as are all of the rides the same at all locations? What rides are at what location? Which parks are associated with what location? We’ve broken all of the essential information below.


Are all of the rides the same at all locations?
No, most Planet Snoopy locations a few “base” rides that are the same throughout, but every location has a variety of different kid rides.

1. Planet Snoopy Cedar Point - Sandusky, Ohio


Planet Snoopy Top Rides:

Dune Buggies: Conquer the desert dunes! Kids will “drive” their Dune buggies around in this spinning adventure under the luxury of an umbrella.

Helicopters: A personal chopper for your little ones to guide up and down throughout the tour of the sky.


Snoopy bounce: A gigantic inflatable Snoopy is guarding the main entrance to Camp Snoopy. Luckily for you, you are able to step inside and safely bounce in the Snoopy bounce house.

2. Planet Snoopy Kings Dominion - Doswell, Virginia


Planet Snoopy Top Rides:

Charlie Brown’s Wind Up: Commonly referred to as a “Home run in fun”. Kids are able to hop inside free hanging swings in a minor league baseball themed batter’s box and wave to the crowd while they fly through the air.

Flying Ace: Two passenger capacity cars that are always ready for a high flying adventure!

Great Pumpkin Coaster: An actual coaster tailor made for a parent to ride with their kiddo, or even for siblings to ride together!

3. Planet Snoopy Kings Island - Mason, Ohio


Planet Snoopy Top Rides:

Joe Cool’s Dodgem School: Bumper cars! A safe toned down version of real bumper cars, enjoy all of the kids laughing while learning how to (not) drive correctly!

Peanuts 500: Another ride which features being inside of a car. This one is an actual race however, that is designed for pure fun lap after lap!

Character Carousel: A soundtrack of happy music, in a simple carousel that keeps you worry free, and your kids focused on pure delight once they pick a (carefully designed) character to take an unforgettable ride on. What’s better than that?

4. Planet Snoopy Valleyfair - Shakopee, Minnesota


Planet Snoopy Top Rides:
Charlie Brown’s Wind-Up: Commonly referred to as a “Home run in fun”. Kids are able to hop inside free hanging swings in a minor league baseball themed batter’s box and wave to the crowd while they fly through the air.


Linus Launcher: A ride that will have guests in a safely strapped “superman” position (laying on your stomach), your kids will be able to recreate a classic. The moment that Snoopy grabs the blanket, guests will be launched in the air close to 10 feet!

Peanuts 500: Another ride which features being inside of a car. This one is an actual race however, that is designed for pure fun lap after lap!

5. Planet Snoopy Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom - Allentown, PA


Planet Snoopy Top Rides:

Kite Eating Tree: As a mini version of Dorney Park’s Dominator, this ride is only 20 feet, with all of the fun! This ride will lift guests upwards of 20 feet and softly bounce them up & down as they approach back to the ground.


Camp Bus: Buckle up and prepare yourself for an amazing road trip! Snoopy is your driver, with no directions except “just drive”!


Snoopy’s Rocket Express: Featuring rocket ships of all colors, prepare for liftoff that will take you through a relaxing and slow paced ride full of majestic scenery.

6. Planet Snoopy Canada’s Wonderland - Vaughan, Ontario


Planet Snoopy Top Rides:

Character Carousel: A soundtrack of happy music, in a simple carousel that keeps you worry free, and your kids focused on pure delight once they pick a (carefully designed) character to take an unforgettable ride on. What’s better than that?

Ghoster Coaster: There are 2 wooden coasters as this park, and this is one of them! A children’s wooden coaster with all of the thrills. This is a “sample” (toned down) version of the Wild Beast and one of the first coasters that was in the park when it opened for the first time in 1981!


Lucy’s Tugboat: A perfect ride for families, as Lucy van Pelt is your captain and she needs help sailing this boat!

Planet Snoopy Top Rides:

Pigpen’s Petting Farm: Does your kiddo love animals? They’ll be to get up close and be able to feed animals as well as make new friends including goats, rabbits and llamas! Each cup costs $2.


Beagle Brigade Airfield: Make sure your hair is gelled, your Snoopy goggles are on and prepare for take off in this high flying adventure!
