Are Reservations Required To Enter Knott's Berry Farm?
As of mid-2021 reservations to enter Knott's Berry Farm theme park are no longer required.
From late 2020 though mid-2021 reservations were required for entry, and unlike Disneyland and California Adventure which are down the road from Knott's Berry Farm, this is no longer the case.
You now only need a valid park ticket for your date of visit to enter Knott's Berry Farm.
Tickets can be purchased at the front gate or online for entry, as well as authorized Knott's Berry Farm ticket sellers like Sam's Club or Costco.
Just because reservations are no longer required for Knott's Berry Farm does not mean the tickets don't sell out though.
While it's unlikely tickets will sell out, there is a possibility for this to happen around major holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving.
We'd recommend purchasing these tickets online in advance to ensure you can enter Knott's Berry Farm - and save some money along the way! Tickets purchased online are typically cheaper than at the gate.

Are Reservations Required For Restaurants at Knott's Berry Farm?
Only one restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm takes advanced reservations, the always popular, Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant!
Every other restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm is first come, first served and do not accept dining reservations.
Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant is very popular, especially for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter dinner, so we always recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure seating.
Reservations can be made online or by calling 714-220-5319 to make a reservation over the phone.
Parties of 9 or more cannot make reservations online, so you'll need to call in to make a reservation for large groups.
TIP: We recommend making a reservation for Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant at least two weeks in advance, if not earlier. Peak travel times and around the holidays will need to be reserved over a month in advance sometimes!
Are Reservations Required For Rides or Shows At Knotts Berry Farm?
While Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland do often take reservations or have "virtual queues" for their attractions, Knott's Berry Farm does not.
Knott's Berry Farm does have Fast Lane which is an additional fee service giving you access to a shorter queue line and allows you to "skip" the general line.
Fast Lane doesn't require an advance reservation or a specific return time though like Genie+ or Lightning Lane at Disneyland, so you'll have a bit more flexibility at Knott's when it comes to paying for a shorter wait time.
There are also no reservations required for any of the shows at Knott's Berry Farm.
Seating is provided on a first come, first serve basis until seating reaches capacity.
