How to Get From Hollywood Studios to EPCOT
The best way to get from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT is by using the Disney Skyliner. It'll take a total of 20 minutes, and you'll have amazing views on the way.
The other options include taking the Disney Bus or the Ferry Boat.
Each one has its pros and cons which we will discuss below.
Taking the Disney Skyliner Gondolas
If you aren't afraid of heights, the Disney Skyliner is the fastest and nicest way to travel from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT.
Visitors will take two separate Disney Skyliner gondolas to arrive at EPCOT.
- The first one will drop you off at the Caribbean Beach station.
- The second one will drop you off at EPCOT's International Gateway
After the first one drops you off, you'll simply follow the 'Skyliner' signs to take the second trip to the park.
Not only will you see the park and its surroundings from a bird-eye view, but it's a very relaxing and enjoyable ride.
Skyliner Capacity
Each Disney Skyliner cabin can accommodate up to 10 guests, including those traveling with wheelchairs or assistive devices.
Where Can I Find the Skyliner?
When you are exiting the park from the main entrance, it will be on your right-hand side.
After exiting the park, you'll see the following sign that you can follow until you arrive at the Skyliner.
Skyliner Gondola Features
The outside of each gondola features a picture of your favorite Disney characters ranging from The Lion King to Toy Story.
Visitors can sightsee from inside of their gondola (outwards), but others aren't able to see inside of other visitors' gondolas.
The Disney Skyliner is one of the newest forms of transportation, as they recently introduced this in 2019.
Taking a Disney Bus
Another option to get to EPCOT is to take the Disney buses.
Disney buses allow visitors to travel in comfort (and AC) as they transition from one park to the other.
Something to be aware of is Disney buses come around every 20 minutes, so if the bus is not there when you get there, chances are that you'll have to wait a few minutes until the next one shows up.
Many guests forget to factor this into their itinerary for the day.
Where is the Bus Stop?
These buses can be found once you exit the park, after passing the Skyliner station.
Once you've passed the Skyliner station, you will see numbered bus stops.
Above the numbers, it will state where that particular bus goes.
When you have found the bus that says "EPCOT", you can wait at that numbered bus stop.
Taking the Ferry Boat
If you love being on the water and don't mind moving at a slower pace, the Ferry Boat may be a great option for you.
The Ferry boat will take visitors on the water to experience a unique view of all of the Disney resorts on the way to EPCOT.
Guests will even float below some Disney Skyliner Gondolas.
This ride will take about 30-35 minutes in total.
The best part of this ride is sailing by the Swan/Dolphin Resorts as well as sailing by the boardwalk.
Where Can I Find the Ferry Boat?
You can find the Ferry Boats on your left hand side when exiting the park, they'll be located on the water.
