Quick Service at Magic Kingdom: Everything You Need to Know
In this page we'll go over what Quick Service at Magic Kingdom is, what it includes, how to use it, and when you should consider it.
What is Quick Service
A Quick Service restaurant is either a cafeteria style, or counter service venue that offers (very) fast service and delicious food.
These restaurants are known to not take reservations, and their menus are a bit larger than the traditional sit-down restaurants.
In order to maximize the speed of the process, Quick Service prioritizes mobile ordering.
What's Included
An entrée and a drink.
How Much do Quick Service Meals Cost
They normally cost between $10-$15.
Mobile Ordering
Using the My Disney Experience app, guests can easily order their food as well as pay for it in seconds. The nice feature about this is that it's a very easy process, and you can order from virtually anywhere in the park.
Once you've ordered, and you've arrived at the Quick Service location, you can signal in the app that you've arrived, and then you'll be informed when your food is ready for pick up.
When you receive the notification that your food is ready for pick up, just head over to the counter/window and pick up your food.
You'll want to keep your app open in case a castmember asks for validation to ensure that you're picking up the correct food.
Best Quick Service Restaurants
Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe
They offer burgers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches and even plant-based food options.
Additionally, this cafe features Sonny Eclipse! He is an audio-animatronic jazz singer and organist who performs 27 minute sets as well as tells cheesy jokes. He is a must-see character.
Casey's Corner
If you're like us, when we're at theme parks, sometimes we just want some 'American baseball' baseball favorites.
Casey's Corner serves ot dogs, corn dog nuggets and French fries. Soft drinks are also available.
Aloha Isle
Looking for a delicious dessert during a hot summer day? Look no further than Aloha Isle. Enjoy the much sought-after soft-serve delight known as DOLE Whip®—a popular frozen treat blended in pineapple, vanilla or swirled flavors.
Quick Service vs Table Service
A Table Service is known as a traditional sit-down experience. It is when a guest is seated, and then uses a menu to order from an actual castmember.
You'll have the sit-down experience to chat with your party, while your food is prepared.
A Quick Service on the other hand, can be ordered directly from the app, and can be picked up from the counter as soon as you arrive to the restaurant.
When to Use Quick Service
When you just want to grab a quick bite to eat, in between rides, and aren't interested in spending much time eating.
When to Use Table Service
When you want to take a break from the heat, and take some time out of your day to enjoy your food.
