1. Know the Best Time to Visit
The best days to visit Michigan's Adventure are on weekdays, specifically Tuesday-Thursday.
Most guests plan their entire vacation and trip around the weekend, which means by going during the weekday, there's a high chance that you'll deal with minimal crowds & less waits.
This will allow you to experience many more rides and your favorite experiences in a shorter period of time.
2. Don't Pay Full Price
When you purchase with us, you can Save $11+ per ticket, and you'll also be able to skip the line by going straight to the gate.
You can learn more about our process and how we're able to do this through our Authorized Theme Park Ticket Reseller page.
3. Rent a Locker
There are three different sizes of lockers (small, medium and large), and the larger the locker, the higher the price.
Locker rentals allow for unlimited use throughout your visit each day. This means that once you've rented your locker, you can revisit your locker without an additional fee.
Depending on how many personal items you are bringing to the park, you will want to choose your locker size accordingly.
You can read all about Michigan's Adventure lockers in our guide.
4. Arrive When the Park Opens
This will normally give you the edge on being able to head directly to your must-do rides & experiences, without dealing with the heavy lines.
Additionally, the park normally takes a few hours to fill up, which will give you a few hours of a more laid back experience.
Make sure that you know the Michigan's Adventure hours, as they are often different (either 9:30 am, 10 am, or 11 am) depending on the day which you are visiting.
5. Know About Fast Passes
A Fast Lane pass gives riders access to a separate line, where riders can get to the front of the line much quicker than regular lines (for select rides) for an additional cost.
Once a Fast Lane pass has been purchased, riders will be given a wristband that will signify to park staff, that you have access to the Fast Lane line.
We've created a guide that easily explains all of the rides that are included with a fast pass, when to buy a fast pass, and when to not buy a fast pass.
You can purchase a Michigan's Adventure fast lane pass directly from their site.
6. Know What You're Allowed to Bring Into the Park
According to Michigan's Adventure FAQ page:
Outside food, beverages or coolers are not allowed in the park. Special diet/need items may be kept in a small cooler, which must be tagged at the Group Sales Office at the entrance to the park. Grilling/alcoholic beverages are not allowed anywhere at the Park, including the parking lot.
