What Is Drinking Around The World?
Drinking Around The World is one of the most popular activities among adults visiting EPCOT for the first time.
EPCOT's World Showcase comprises 11 different countries, or "pavilions" as they are formally known, which feature rides, shows, restaurants, shops, and... lots of alcohol!
Each pavilion has alcoholic beverages unique to the country it's themed after and has some very unique drinks you may not be able to find anywhere else in the world unless you actually make a trip to the country!
"Drinking Around The World" is a Disney fan-created challenge to visit each country at EPCOT and try one beverage unique to each respective country.
With eleven different beverages needed to be consumed to complete the Drinking Around The World challenge, it's not always an easy or cheap task!
What Is The Average Drink Price At EPCOT?
Drinks at EPCOT aren't cheap, and you can expect sometimes to pay double what you would at a bar or restaurant outside of Walt Disney World for the same drink.
Below are the average prices for some of the most common types of alcoholic beverages you can expect to find at EPCOT...
- Draft Beer: $10

The prices above reflect what you can purchase year-round at bars and dining locations at EPCOT.
During the International Food & Wine Festival, it's possible to purchase smaller, "sampler" sizes of many drinks at the various festival booths. These sampler-size drinks are roughly half the cost of a full-size drink, but you'll only be getting about 30-40% of the full-size drink.
Purchasing your beverages from the festival booths is an easy way to save money and consume less alcohol!
How Much Does It Cost To Drink Around The World At EPCOT?
On average, you can expect to spend around $165 per person to fully drink around the world at EPCOT. This means purchasing one drink from each of the eleven countries at the EPCOT World Showcase.
Our calculations are based on an average price of $15 per drink across eleven purchases while mostly ordering beer and a few mixed drinks.
This price doesn't include any potential savings if you purchase drinks from the festival booths during the International Food & Wine Festival, which we estimate would cost around $80 per person.
Because there aren't really any discounts on alcohol even if you're a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club Member, the best way to save money is to drink around the world during the Food & Wine Festival when you can take advantage of the sampler size beverages.
You can also save money by only purchasing beer which is a few dollars less than any mixed drinks or wine at EPCOT.
If you go the mixed drink only route (which we don't recommend as it's a TON of alcohol), you'll spend significantly more than this estimate, and after taxes and tips, you are looking at $200+.
