Total Rides and Shows

There are currently 12 rides and 1 show at Universal Studios Hollywood. Seven of these rides are simulator experiences, two roller coasters, one water ride, one immersive tram tour, and one spinner ride.

There are also five additional shows at Universal Studios which only perform on a seasonal basis. 

The World-Famous Studio Tour contains two separate immersive 3D experiences in King Kong 360 and Fast & Furious - Supercharged which feel like additional rides, but we'll only count rides here if they have their own dedicated queues.

The Studio Tour for example is multiple rides all packaged into one!

Rides at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood has eleven rides with more on the way as Super Nintendo World nears completion!

• Fast & Furious Supercharged and King Kong 360 3D are two experiences part of the Tram Tour which are 3D/simulator experiences.

NOTE: Even though Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey as well as Mario Kart are classified as a Simulator Experience, they are so much more!

These thrill rides are an incredible mix of simulators, real-life elements, and massive animatronics. 

Shows at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood currently only has one show that operates almost year-round.

There are also five shows which are seasonal and only perform for part of the year.

NOTE: Seasonal shows are typically announced 1-2 months before the season's start, this list includes the most recent and commonly occurring seasonal shows, but these are subject to change and might not come back every year. 

Year-round shows close a couple of times throughout the year for routine maintenance and upkeep but perform for most of the year.
