Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Las Vegas: All You Need to Know
There are hundreds of great options to choose from when visiting Las Vegas.
In this page, we will explain everything that you need to know if you are considering staying at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Las Vegas.
Overall Review
The Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Las Vegas is a fantastic option to consider for your visit.
The hotel itself is extremely modern, clean and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate guests.
Some of the main amenities include a pool, poolside restaurant, a lobby bar, a gym, and being located on the north-end of the strip.
The only downsides of this hotel are that it'll require additional walking to get to the main part of the strip, and it doesn't have its own casino.
Location to the Strip
Although the Hilton Grand Vacation Club is located on the strip, it will still be about a 15-20 minute walk to the center of the strip (where all of the action is).
Unfortunately there's no shuttle from the hotel to that part of the strip, which means that you'll have to take a short Uber/Lyft ride, or walk.
We walked during the day to the strip and it was a relatively peaceful walk.
However, at night we decided that taking an Uber would be the way to go, as the sidewalks between the center of the strip all the way to the hotel lacked lighting.
Room Review
Getting to the Room After Receiving the Key
Getting to our rooms was relatively easy. All that we needed to do was head towards the elevators that were located seconds away from the front desk.
Once we were in the elevator we would scan our room key, and select our floor.
It's important to note that you won't be able to use the elevator to get to your room without the room key, so make sure you don't lose it! (or ask for a new one at the front desk).
First Impressions of the Room
We would end up staying in a suite for the night, and it would exceed our expectations.
The room would feature a kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and a bathroom that could be accessed from both the room and the general area.
After opening the door, we would be greeted with a 'fresh and clean' scent of the room, and everything was perfectly organized.
The room would be a decent size (smaller rooms are very common on the Las Vegas strip), contain blackout curtains, WiFi, Smart Tv's, in-room coffee, and plenty of outlets available to charge electronics.
Most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable, soft, and allowed us to have a rejuvenating night of sleep.
The only minor inconvenience to be aware of is that many cars will rev their engine as they drive through the strip.
This however doesn't occur specifically around this hotel, it happens throughout the entire strip.
If you're a light sleeper visiting Vegas, you may want to consider sleeping ear plugs.
Casino
Unfortunately this property doesn't offer a casino, which may be a shock to some.
However, there are dozens of casinos that can be found near the center of the strip, only minutes away.
Convenience Store
Located at the bottom floor of the hotel, you'll find a giant convenience store that came in very clutch for our visit.
You can think of this store as having more items than a regular gas station convenience store, but less than a grocery store.
Here you'll be able to order the same items that you can from the pool-side restaurant (minus alcohol).
Some of the most useful items include:
- Gatorade
- Pedialyte
- Coffee
- Redbull
- Food
- Snacks
Gym
On the bottom floor right across from the Convenience store, is where you can find the gym.
The gym is a decent size and contains the following equipment:
- Barbell bench press
- Dumbbell bench press area
- Cable machines
- Pull up/stretching area
- Treadmill machines
- Biking machines
- Elliptical machines
Pool
This property also offers a heated pool and a hot tub, with rental cabanas also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking
Parking is available but is not free. There's both valet parking and self parking available.
