Ride Tiers
Some rides are much more popular than others, a 30 minute wait for one ride might be considered short while a 30 minute wait for another might be considered long.

TIP: Even if you visit during the busier times of the year, there are plenty of lesser known ways to beat the lines including the VIP Experience and early morning admission.
January Wait Times
Outside of the days surrounding New Years Day and Martin Luther King Day, January will see fairly average to below wait times all month.
TIP: Holidays will be much busier and weekdays will be very slow. If you are able to visit on a weekday you will find very minimal wait times.

February Wait Times
February is one of the least busy months to visit Universal Studios Hollywood.

March Wait Times
The first half of March will see low wait times very similar to February until the third and fourth weeks when Spring Break begins for schools around the country. TIP: The earlier in March you can visit, the better.

April Wait Times
April stays consistently busy because Spring Break is usually in full effect for most schools across the country. Late April might see some lower wait times as we head into May, but most of the month will be quite busy.

May Wait Times
May is another slow month and a great time to visit. Late May will begin to see an uptick in average wait times as summer approaches, but overall wait times will be low.

June Wait Times
June will see wait times increase the later into the month it gets. Early June is typically not too bad, but wait times start to become very longer each week closer to July.

July Wait Times
July is one of the busiest times of year to visit. July 4th kicks off the summer travel season and doesn't slow down until after Labor Day in September. Wait times will typically be at their peak in July.

August Wait Times
August is also right in the middle of summer travel season and one of the busiest times to visit Universal Studios Hollywood. Average wait times will still be at their peak for most of August.

October is another great time to visit, but note the park will typically close early many evenings for Halloween Horror Nights.

The beginning of November is also great to visit, but Thanksgiving week will be very busy. Add about 15-20 minutes to the wait times below to get an idea of what you can expect to see if you visit closer to Thanksgiving.

December Wait Times
The first two weeks of December will see average wait times, but the final two weeks of the month especially heading into Christmas are some of the busiest times all year to visit.
