What Is The Knott's Scary Farm Chaperone Policy?
A chaperone policy was implemented in April of 2023 that impacts who is allowed to go to Knott's Scary Farm without the supervision of an adult.
The Knott's Scary Farm Chaperone Policy states that anyone who is 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by one person who is at least 21 years old.
A maximum of 10 children who are 15 or younger can be accompanied by one person who is 21 years old.
If there are more than 10 children under the age of 15, then an additional 21+ year-old chaperone must be present with the group.
These chaperones must be present upon entry into Knott's Scary Farm and must remain inside the park at all times. Chaperones must also be able to be contacted on the phone by Knott's staff.
If a chaperone leaves the park or is unable to be reached on the phone by Knott's staff, then anyone in the group who is 15 years or younger will remain with Knott's staff and be asked to leave the park.
Anyone who is above the age of 15 does not need to be accompanied by a chaperone to Knott's Scary Farm.
Does Knott's Enforce The Chaperone Policy?
Yes! Knott's absolutely enforces their chaperone policy and it's not recommended to drop your kids off at Knott's Scary Farm without a chaperone.
They won't be allowed entry into the park and will only cause a headache for the Knott's staff, your children, and yourself.
Please do not try to circumvent the chaperone policy by lying about anyone's age either.
Knott's will ask for a government-issued photo identification (like a driver's license) to prove the chaperone's age.
If you aren't able to provide any sort of identification then Knott's will decline your entry into the park!
Are There Any Exceptions To The Chaperone Policy?
There are no exceptions to the Knott's Scary Farm chaperone policy.
Knott's is very serious about enforcing this policy so no amount of begging, crying, or pleading will get them to make an exception.
