How to Get From EPCOT to Disney Springs
The best free way to travel from EPCOT to Disney Springs is by walking to Disney's Boardwalk Inn Resort (0.3 miles) which is about a 7 minute walk, and then taking a Disney bus from the resort to Disney Springs.
About the Walking Path
You'll simply exit the park from the EPCOT International Gateway (under the Skyliner station in between the United Kingdom and France), and then you'll make a left.
After that, you can simply follow the path all the way down until you reach the Boardwalk Resort.
The best part of this route is that you'll pass delicious places along the way, more specifically Boardwalk Ice Cream on your left hand side, and the beautiful Crescent Lake on your right.
Once you arrive to the resort, you'll find the bus loop, and find the bus that has a destination of 'Disney Springs'.
Why Use a Disney Bus?
Disney buses allow visitors to travel in comfort (and AC) as they transition from one park to the other.
Disney buses are also complimentary for all guests, which means that you don't need to be stay at a Disney resort to use them.
Any Disney Bus at a Disney Resort Can Take You to Disney Springs
In general, you are able to use any Disney bus at a resort to take you to and from Disney Springs.
Unfortunately there is no direct transportation from Disney Springs to the theme parks, or vice versa.
This means, that you'll have to take a connecting transportation to the resort first.
Take the Ferry Boat
If you love being on the water, and don't mind moving at a slower pace, the Ferry Boat may be a great option for you.
The Ferry boat will take visitors on the water to experience a unique view of all of the Disney resorts on the way from EPCOT.
Guests will even walk below some Disney Skyliner Gondolas.
This ride will take about 30-35 minutes in total.
The best part of this ride is sailing by the Swan/Dolphin Resorts as well as sailing by the boardwalk.
If you are traveling with a smaller number of people, or you don't want to deal with waiting for buses, ride sharing services may be a great fit.
At an additional cost, you can request a ride sharing service to pick you and your party up and transport you over to the next park.
Some visitors would rather do this, instead of having to deal with some of the stops that buses will have.
MINNIE VAN SERVICE TO Disney Springs
At an additional cost, visitors can take the Minnie Van Service where the drivers are actually Disney Cast Members.
The Minnie Van Service is a Disney-themed car that can take guests to a Disney park in style (and comfort).
Each vehicle accommodates up to 6 Guests.
Guests will simply use the Lyft app to schedule their ride as they normally would.
However, they will select 'Minnie Van Service' over the other options (Lyft, Lyft XL, etc).
How it Works
To request a ride through the Lyft app:
- Open the app and select Disney Springs as the drop-off location.
- It makes no difference whether you choose the Eastside Bus Loop or West Side Bus Loop. It will just drop you off on a different side of Disney Springs.
- Confirm your pick-up location (EPCOT) and tap “Select Minnie Van”
- The app will then show a map with available Minnie Van drivers tracking the vehicle en route—along with an identifying vehicle number to help you spot your car
Hours of Operation
Minnie Van service operates from 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM daily. Hours of operation are subject to change.
