Tokyo Disneyland

Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland is the second longest of any Space Mountain attraction with a total ride time of 2 minutes 45 seconds

Tokyo Disneyland's Space Mountain is about to go under a massive reimagining and renovation which will likely alter the length of the ride.

Set to debut in 2027, we still have a lot of waiting to do before we find out just what the experience on this newly rebuilt Space Mountain will be like.

Disneyland Paris

Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris, currently known as Hyperspace Mountain is tied for the shortest ride experience of any Space Mountain at 2 minutes 15 seconds

While Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris is the shortest of the Space Mountains, you might be surprised to learn that it is by far the most intense experience.

No Space Mountain attraction has any inversions, except for Disneyland Paris which has not one or two inversions, but three inversions!

While Space Mountain is typically a great starter rollercoaster for kids, you'll definitely want to be much more cautious when it comes to Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris!

Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World)

The first and original Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom falls into fourth place out of all the Space Mountains at 2 minutes 30 seconds

Walt Disney World was the first Disney Resort to have a Space Mountain attraction built in 1975, with the next debuting at Disneyland in 1977.

It's often mistaken that Disneyland had Space Mountain first, but it's in fact Magic Kingdom where Space Mountain opened first.

Disneyland

The longest Space Mountain attraction is at Disneyland with a total ride time of nearly 3 minutes

It's also one of the fastest Space Mountain attractions with a top speed of 35 miles per hour falling only behind Space Mountain Disneyland Paris which reaches a speed of 44 miles an hour!

A little know fact about Space Mountain at Disneyland is it actually has three different overlays it can/has rotated through over the years/seasons: Hyperspace Mountain, Rockin' Space Mountain, and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.

While the traditional Space Mountain is by far the most popular experience, Hyperspace Mountain was incredibly popular during the release of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and Ghost Galaxy was a popular Halloween-time version of the ride.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Tied with Disneyland Paris for the shortest Space Mountain attraction at 2 minutes 15 seconds is Hong Kong Disneyland.

Just like Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland's Space Mountain is currently in its Hyperspace Mountain form - rumors indicate this may be a permanent change with no plans for the ride to return as Space Mountain.
