The Ultimate Valleyfair Parking Guide: All You Need to Know
When you arrive to Valleyfair, you'll realize that there are multiple options to choose from when it comes to parking.
In this page, we'll go over all of the parking options that are available, how much they cost, and how they stack up against each other.

Types of Parking Options at Valleyfair
There are 2 types of parking options at Valleyfair including:
- Single Day/General Parking at a cost of $20
- Preferred Parking (yet to be announced)
General Parking will allow you to park in a spot for the day, but the later that you arrive to the park for the day, the further that you will be parked from the entrance.
Preferred Parking is more expensive, but it allows you to park closer to the entrance of the park, regardless of what hour of the day that you arrive.
General/Single Day Parking

General Parking is going to be your most basic and cheapest option ($20) at the Valleyfair park.
It's also the most common parking choice amongst visitors.
General Parking will be $20 consistently every day of the year, for one car, motorcycle or RV/Camper.
Valleyfair's Parking Payment Options
It's important to know that Cash is not accepted.
Parking must be paid with a credit or debit card.
You're able to pre-pay for parking directly from the Valleyfair site.

Pre-Pay For Parking
When you pre-pay for parking you can just show the park attendant your parking receipt, and they'll seamlessly let you through in seconds.
Whereas if you decide to pay at the park, you'll have to spend a few minutes there, as they process your payment, before providing you your receipt.
Take into consideration the hundreds of visitors who will do this while you're in line behind them, and you'll wish everyone had prepaid parking!
However, it's important to know that there are no refunds or rain checks for parking.
Preferred Parking
Preferred Parking will provide you access to park closer to the entrance of the park, at a higher cost (yet to be announced) than general parking.
It's important to know that there are only 100 spots available daily, and spots are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You may think that it's not a big deal, however you should take into consideration how you will feel after a long day at the park.
After walking around for the entire day and having a fantastic experience, some guests don't want to spend another half an hour (on a busy day) walking back and trying to find their car.
Payment Options
Similarly to General parking, cash is not accepted.
Parking must be paid with a credit or debit card.
You're able to pre-pay for parking directly from the Valleyfair site.
