SeaWorld's Annual Passes are one of the most popular passes at the park.
In this page, we'll explain what a SeaWorld San Antonio Annual pass is, the differences between the various annual passes, what perks they offer, how you can pay for it, and even the upgrades that you can make.
What is a SeaWorld San Antonio Annual Pass?
A SeaWorld San Antonio Annual Pass will allow you unlimited access to the SeaWorld park for 12 consecutive months, along with other benefits such as free parking, discounts on food, beverage, Quick Queue passes to name a few.
The Annual Pass will last you exactly 12 months from the day that you purchased, regardless of the season.
So this means if you purchased an annual pass on July 7th, it will last you through July 7th of the next year.
It's different than a Fun Card Pass, as a Fun Card Pass only lasts for the current year, and has no additional benefits.
Types of Annual Passes
There are 4 types of SeaWorld Annual Passes including:
- Season Pass
- Silver Pass
- Gold Pass
- Platinum Pass
Each one offers different benefits, and they're all different prices.
1. Season Pass
The SeaWorld San Antonio Season Pass is the cheapest option, and isn't a traditional Annual pass, as it is only valid for the year that it was purchased.
This means that if you purchased a Season pass in 2024, it will only be valid in 2024. When 2025 comes around, you'll need a new pass.
However it still has perks such as free parking, and discounts on merchandise.
Benefits include:
- Admission for a 'Season' (for the year that it was purchased)
- 5% merchandise savings
- 5% discounts on photos & frames
2. Silver Pass
A Silver Annual Pass allows pass holders to have 2 free guest tickets, no blockout dates on their pass, free parking and a higher percentage in discounts.
Benefits include:
- 12 months of admission (No Blockout Dates)
- 10% savings off of food & beverage
- 10% merchandise savings
- 10% discounts on Quick Queue
- 10% discounts on Zoological experiences
- Exclusive guest ticket discounts
- 10% discounts on photos & frames
- 10% discounts on Dine With Your Favorite Characters
- 10% rental discounts on stroller rentals
- Admission to popular event line ups (Food festivals, Halloween with kids weekends)
- Exclusive savings for Discovery Cove
- Exclusive Pin trading events & product access
- Free Skytower rides
- 10% off Youth Summer camps
3. Gold Pass
A Gold Annual Pass allows pass holders to have 4 free guest tickets, access to the Priority Park entrance, no blockout dates on their pass, free parking (50% off Preferred Parking), and a higher percentage in discounts.
Benefits include:
- 12 months of admission (No Blockout Dates)
- 50% off Preferred parking
- 15% savings off of food & beverage
- 20% merchandise savings
- 20% discounts on Quick Queue
- 15% discounts on Zoological experiences
- Exclusive guest ticket discounts
- Free spot to Up-Close parade reservation
- 1 Free photokey
- 20% discounts on photos & frames
- 15% discounts on Dine With Your Favorite Characters

4. Platinum Pass
A Platinum Annual Pass allows pass holders to have 6 free guest tickets, access to the Priority Park entrance, no blockout dates on their pass, free Preferred Parking, and unlimited Admission to all 11 parks.
Benefits include:
- 12 months of admission (No Blockout Dates)
- 50% off Preferred parking
- 25% savings off of food & beverage
- 30% merchandise savings
- 1 free single ride of Quick Queue per visit
- 40% discounts on Quick Queue
- 20% discounts on Zoological experiences
- Exclusive guest ticket discounts
- Free spot to Up-Close parade reservation
- 1 Free photokey

HOW TO GET MY ANNUAL PASS
Purchase your annual pass directly from the SeaWorld San Antonio site.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
You can either pay in full, or through EZ Pay's 12 month payment plan.
If you choose to purchase with a payment plan, you'll make your first monthly payment that day, and then have 11 consecutive payments of that same amount.
When you go to checkout your pass, you'll have to create (or login to) an account, to purchase an Annual Pass.
It's extremely important that you enter your email address correctly, as this is where your tickets will be delivered.
Know About Automatic Renewal
It's important to know that these passes have automatic renewal already set up.
Many people don't realize this, and then have to deal with it later on when their card gets charged.
On the other hand, if you were planning to renew it it's a seamless automatic process.
