Schlitterbahn's Season Pass: Everything You Need to Know
A Season Pass is one of the most popular purchases at all Schlitterbahn parks.
In this page, we'll explain what a Schlitterbahn Season Pass is (for both parks), the differences between the various season passes, what perks they offer, how you can pay for it, and even the upgrades that you can make.
What is a Schlitterbahn Season Pass?
A Schlitterbahn Season Pass allows a pass holder to visit the park an unlimited number of times throughout the 'season' in a year, on all days that are open to the public.
These passes offer benefits including free general parking, access to special events, and discounts, which we will all cover later.
The reason that it's not an 'Annual Pass' is due to Schlitterbahn not being open every month of the year.
The Schlitterbahn water parks are typically open from mid April - end of September.
TYPES OF PASSES & BENEFITS
There are three types of Season Passes at Schlitterbahn:
- Season Pass
- Texas 2 Pass
- Platinum Pass
Pass Differences
The regular Season Pass is designed for visitors whose main priority is being able to visit the water park consistently.
The Texas 2 Pass allows you access to both Schlitterbahn water parks (New Braunfels & Galveston).
The Platinum Pass allows you access to ALL Cedar Fair parks for the season.
Pricing-wise, the Platinum pass the most expensive pass.
Season Pass
The Season Pass is for those mainly interested in being able to attend the park an unlimited amount of times.
The benefits include:

- Resort Stay Discounts at 1 Schlitterbahn water park
- Cabana Rental Discounts
- Coolers Welcome in Park

It's important to note that the Schlitterbahn Galveston park does not offer resort stay discounts under this pass.
Texas 2 Pass
The Texas 2 Pass is a step up from the regular Season Pass, and is for visitors that are interested in visiting both Schlitterbahn water parks throughout the season.

Platinum Pass
The Platinum Pass allows visitors to visit all Cedar Fair parks, and also includes all of the benefits of the other two passes.
This pass is for visitors who love Cedar Fair parks, and will travel often to different parks throughout a season.
- Unlimited Visits to All Cedar Fair Parks (including both Schlitterbahn New Braunfels & Galveston water parks)
- Free General Parking

Easy Pay Plan to Pay For a Season Pass
The Easy Pay Plan is a payment plan that you can use to pay for your season pass in multiple payments.
This allows you to have the flexibility to split up your payment over several months, rather than paying it all at once.
You'll have an initial payment, and for the next 3 months, you'll pay a fixed amount every month.
All three Schlitterbahn Season Passes are able to be paid with the Easy Pay Plan.
How it Works
- Select which season pass you want to purchase
- Input your billing information
- Upload a picture of yourself for your season pass or opt to take a picture at the park
- Check out
Paying in Full
If you're not interested in splitting up the payments, you're also able to pay for your season pass all at once.
WHEN SHOULD I GET A SEASON PASS
If you're planning on visiting the park at least 2 times in a season, a season pass may be a good option for you.
You'll receive countless perks, and save plenty of money along the way.
WHEN SHOULD I NOT GET A SEASON PASS
If you're only planning on visiting the park once for the entire season, it most likely will not be worth the investment.
Season passes normally make sense for guests that will visit the park several times in a season.
SEASON PASS UPGRADES
During checkout, you will be given an option to upgrade your pass with a variety of options (that will also last for the entire season) including:
