What is the Acrisure Stadium Bag Policy? | Know Before You Go
Every stadium has its own rules of what you can or can't bring, and it can get a little overwhelming trying to figure it out while also trying to plan your vacation.
In this page, we cover exactly what you can and can't bring into Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
What is the Acrisure Stadium Bag Policy?
Visitors are allowed to bring a bag into Acrisure Stadium. Clear bags can be larger, but must be no larger than 12" x 6" x 12".
You can purchase a bag that fits these requirements directly from Amazon.
If the bag is not transparent/clear, the bag size must be 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller.
Non-transparent bags must be 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller even if you place them inside a clear bag.
A person is only allowed to bring an approved clear bag and/or clutch purse into Acrisure Stadium, this includes children.
To make the entering the stadium process as fast and easy as possible for everyone, visitors are encouraged not to bring any bags into the stadium.
Approved Bags
The maximum size that a clear bag can be is 12" x 6" x 12".
Other approved bags include:
- Clear fanny pack
- 1-gallon plastic freezer bag
- Clutch bag no larger than 4.5" x 6.5"
Visitors are also allowed to bring blankets (but they must not be in a large bag) and can hold them over their shoulder or arm when entering the stadium.
Items Not Allowed Into the Stadium
- Coolers
- Containers
- Seat cushions
- Umbrellas
- Strollers
- Baby seats
- Glass bottles
- Cans
- Metal flasks
- Camera lenses over 6"
- Selfie sticks
- Outside food & beverage
- Footballs
- Animals (except for Service animals)
Inspection Entering the Park
Visitors should be aware that all guests, bags, packages, and other items are subject to inspection, including metal detection or other screening measures before entering the stadium.
Here, visitors will place their bags on the table for inspection, and visitors will then walk through a metal detector.
WHY WERE THESE BAG RULES IMPLEMENTED?
For the safety of visitors and staff at the stadium, and to provide all parties with the best possible experience.
Large bags can take up a lot of space and due to how close stadium seats are to one another, it would mean that the bag would be overflowing into the next seat, affecting the other visitor's experience.
