What is the Boggy Creek Airboat Tour?

As one of the most unique experiences in Central Florida, the Boggy Creek Airboat Tour provides something that other attractions and theme parks simply can't.. A front row view through the Everglades.

The airboat tour provides different ride options for both the day & night.

The tour allows you and your party to glide through the water as you encounter wildlife such as gators, turtles & birds in their natural environments.

Although the name of this attraction is the Boggy Creek Airboat tour, it actually provides more than that.

It features its own 32 acre park where parkgoers can explore the different swamp related activities and sites. This is very popular among visitors as most navigate through the park while they wait for their tour time to arrive.

In this park you'll find a Gator Oasis, Native American Experience, Gem Mine, Swamp Shack and Tiki Bar. We will cover all of these below.

Different Tour Options

Daytime: 30 minutes & 1 hour

The daytime tours are also known as the Scenic Nature Tour.

What Does the Airboat Tour Include?

The Airboat tour and a Free admission to the park.

Airboat Tour:

This tour will take you through the unaltered terrain of the central florida everglades. If you've never been on an airboat, the first aspect that will stick out to you is that unlike traditional boats, it will feel as you are gliding through the water rather than flowing with and at times against it.

Most tours can fit 15+ passengers. There are 3 rows of seats where you will have plenty of room and maximum visibility.

Unlike other boats, the captain is elevated and positioned by himself in the back of the boat.

This allows the captain to be able to see ahead, have a better view of wildlife in the water, and to not affect the views of passengers in the process.

When you walk into the park, on the left hand side you will immediately see alligators within distance behind an enclosure. Here you'll find dozens of gators in clear daylight tanning in the sun or swimming in the pond.

What to Wear to This Tour?

If you're riding during the day make sure to bring sunscreen. You normally do not get wet during the ride, however Florida will always be Florida and it may randomly rain for minutes at a time while the sun is out.

If you're riding at night, make sure to bring a jacket. When traveling at speeds during nighttime, it is easier to become cold. Better safe than sorry!
