Are Selfie Sticks Allowed at Universal Studios?
Selfie Sticks are allowed in Universal Studios but they may not be used on rides. In order to safely participate in any rides or studios tours, a guest's Selfie Stick must be stored on the ride, or in a locker.
According to the Universal Studios website, Selfie Sticks are permitted at the discretion of Universal. This means that although the park specifically mentions not using them on rides, they could ask you to put it away in other situations as well.
Just remember, if this occurs it is strictly to maximize the safety of the guests at the park.
Some Rides Don't Allow Bags
One thing that you should be aware of is that not all rides allow bags in the actual ride. Luckily these rides offer lockers ride outside of the entrance, where you'll easily be able to temporarily store your belongings safely. There are two types of lockers, a complimentary locker and an all-day rental locker.
Lockers are available on a first come, first served basis.
Complimentary Locker
A complimentary locker allows you to store your small belongings in the ride's locker for free while you ride, and pick up your belongings afterwards.
The standard-sized lockers (14 in x 5.5 in x 16.9 in).
All-Day Rental Locker
For a one time additional fee, guests have unlimited access to these lockers during their visit that day, and can open and close their locker as many times as they need.
